Yay! We did it again!

Yes Yes Yes! We lost to Australia yet again! Sometimes our consistency at losing to the Kangaroos really shocks me.We've really made it a habit or something. It's not only cricket, but also hockey.Today was dismal, really. No one played well.Even though we did manage to restrict Australia to 213,the batting lineup as usual crumbled under Brett Lee's pace,McGrath's accuracy and Brad Hogg's googlies.Dinesh Mongia was the highest scorer with 40-something runs,Suresh Raina the second. At one point,it looked like we would actually manage to scrape a win but no we would not.The way the tailenders played was lame.RP Singh knows he can't bat so he shouldve given Mongia the strike but no,he had to take that damn run of the last ball of the over to have strike and Ponting knew what to do.He brought Lee in and he took RP Singh and Munaf Patel in what seemed like seconds. It's all over.Australia go into the finals of the DLF Cup against the Carribeans and India sit crying sore over Duckworth Lewis and umpire's decisions.Totally sucks.

And I really don't know why I'm here posting this.I should be studying.I have a God damn Chemistry exam on Monday :|

Nokia Football Crazy

I really like this show cause it's complete entertainment and feeds you with all the soccer news of the week.It features on ESPN every week.

Actually,I never really get the time to see it but I really enjoy it when I do.It has this crazy anchor and a crazy chick accompanying him. There's a soccer expert called PJ Roberts and this huge guy who keeps cracking jokes and doing funny things around.Every week they call a number of fans of different clubs of the EPL or the La Liga or any other league and ask them about the week's matches and other crazy questions. Then there's a number of competitions and E-Mails.There's one where you can send them pictures and they show it on TV.You can ask them for problems you have while playing soccer or what you thought about a team's performance. It's very interactive and all in good humour.Every week they ask you a question and give you an I-Pod if you win.I like I-Pod's.They show goals of the week from the different leagues and some league matches from asian teams and leagues which aren't very popular.Plus they also cover other sports and tell you the schedule of the seasons and the latest points and status.

So don't forget to catch it Live and Exclusive on ESPN.

The Pheonix Arises

Right now i.e. Wednesday,September 20,2006 @ 1:40 PM,the rebirth process of Ish's Blog as Ishville is finally complete.Yeah you heard that correctly.

A lot of searching, messed up CSS and screwed up templates later,I finally managed to find a template I liked and the links and all are done too.And hence the Pheonix reincarnates from its ashes(blah blah).I love Pop Corns, don't you?

Blogger Vs Wordpress

Blogger is perhaps the biggest platform for online bloggers but Wordpress isn't far behind either.

After having spent plenty of time on both of them,I guess I'm qualified enough to judge how they fare against each other.

Firstly Blogger,
Positives-Flexibility with Templates
Negatives-It can't really help you if you want to know your performance.

Wordpress,
Positives-It gives excellent blog statistics and it's results show up in google pretty much more than blogger's results do.
Negatives-No Template Flexibility. You have to choose from the existing templates and almost everyone of them is faulty somewhere or the other.

The result-Both of them are pretty good so you can't really make a judgement. Both have their pro's and cons and the future performance depends totally upon their future policies.I think Wordpress would do much better if it would allow templates from outside. It already has started some of that but you need to pay for editing your CSS which is totally not acceptable.Blogger meanwhile is doing a very good job with templates.I think they could also do with a list of widgets which can be incorporated into the blog's sidebar and all because all the bloggers may not be very good at html and css so it's a tough job for them to copy and paste codes from here and there and they mess their template up.Moreover Blogger should have a blog stats feature where it can tell a blogger about the visits to his/her blog and the way the users reached the blog.

Back to Bedlam.Oops I mean Blogger!

This was my first blog.I killed it and adopted Wordpress but today I've decided that this blog formerly known as "Ish's Blog" will reincarnate as "Ishville" and believe me,it's gonna be bigger and badder than ever before. So welcome me back with warm hearts and loads of love and I'll give you your first post as soon as I can think one up.For all those who are reading this and don't know me,the wordpress blog is still alive and well and you can check it for a piece of what you're gonna get here.So if you wanna see it click Dead End

Stay Tuned for more and have a good day.

Heading Credits:-
James Blunt because his album is called Back To Bedlam and that's where I picked the heading from. For those of you who are not very good at english,"Bedlam" means sounds all around you,in all directions.Doesn't necessarily mean annoying sounds though.
